Willy Freeman, President Inspection FIRST Inc.

Willy Freeman is a certified home inspector and a member of AHIT (American Home Inspectors Training Institute). Willy Freeman has worked in the construction industry for 37 years. During these years, Willy Freeman was active as hands on general trades’ mechanic, carpenter, crew leader, foreman, general contractor, property damage inspector, estimator, cause and origin insurance damage evaluator, architectural layout person, architectural designer, surveyor and general manager of various construction entities throughout Canada. During many of his years in the construction industry, Willy Freeman was the proprietor of the construction activities he was involved with. During the past 15 years, Willy Freeman has been actively involved in evaluating extensive property damage for the insurance industry relating to cause and origin, cost analysis, construction supervision of extensive repairs resulting from wind damage, fire damage, water damage, vehicle impact damage and other insured perils. Willy Freeman has attended numerous certification programs relating to proper home inspection methodology and procedures. As well, Willy Freeman is an expert report writer.

Bruce McClure, Senior Home Inspector

Bruce McClure has been involved in the home inspection industry in the Kitchener/Waterloo region since 1988. He has performed hundreds of home inspections and has developed some of the pioneering methods in industry that are used today by many other inspectors. Since the late 1960’s he has been involved in various fields of construction involving both custom homes and commercial buildings. Starting in 2002, Bruce has taken a special interest in issues involving Indoor Air Quality. Bruce McClure is a registered home inspector and a member of CAHPI (Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors), CAHPI, Ontario and OAHI (Ontario Association of Home Inspectors). Bruce has contributed to a CMHC (Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation) publication “How to Hire a Home Inspector” and has Indoor Air Quality Training by CMHC. Since 2003, Bruce has been under contract as a Continuing Education Program Coordinator for Home Inspection and a teacher for various Home Inspection courses at Conestoga College Doon.
